I'll start with a question- Why do we think, the rich get richer?
My theory, is that we let them. We continue to consume more voraciously than any culture in history. We throw a LOT away. I would postulate that most Americans (I was born here) would rather eat peanut butter sandwiches 6 days per week than drive an older car or shop at a second-hand store, long term.
